About Me
I work with those whose lives have been transformed by a traumatic event or a series of events. I also work with those whose childhood world did not provide a sense of security, attachment and safety, thereby handicapping them from believing in themselves and from reaching their life goals.
My studies took place in Israel and in the United States. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, M.S.W, Psychotherapist. I have my Masters in Social Work from the Tel-Aviv University and am a graduate of the School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Bar-Ilan University. I am an accredited supervisor for E.M.D.R.
My training includes various Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) modalities, such as; EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, TIR-Traumatic Incident Reductions as well as Prolonged Exposure and a number of Body-Mind orientated therapies for working with trauma, anxiety and phobias.
In addition to my work with trauma, anxiety and phobias, my experience includes work with clients dealing with cancer and other medical issues. I also work with individuals and families dealing with issues faced in the LGBT community.
I conduct therapy in Hebrew and in English.
On the Helpful Information and Links Pages, I have included a number of sites discussing the various methods with which I work. There you will also find beneficial websites and books.
